Providence Medical Group, PC

PMG consists of nearly 700 physicians who are members of the Providence Hospitals medical staff. This group originally formed for the purpose of managed care contracting and sharing resources for professional development.

In 2011, the PMG along with other St. John Providence Health physician organizations, joined together to form The Physician Alliance. This partnership resulted in a more collegial partnership with SJPH as well as maximizing Pay for Performance income for our physicians.

Mission Statement

The PMG is dedicated to providing its members with services and advocacy to support the delivery of outstanding compassionate care to their patients and enhance the economic well being of its members.

Healthcare payers recognize the PMG as a preeminent group of physicians who, along with their healthcare partners, are known for providing accessible high quality, cost-effective care.
